Dana, I want to know your thoughts on the heart beat at seven weeks!!!

My sister in law said...."don't you know what causes this!" More of a joke so that is why I put that in the blog...lol

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!

I don't know I guess I just have thinking alot about lots of issues in politics and experiences in my own life where people say things like don't you know what causes that(people that aren't really joking) Each child is precious to God and the whole abortion issue just makes me very sad. And getting a heart beat at 7 weeks gestation should show all these abortion people that their is precious life growing in you. I don't know it was just very touching to think about that. I know I have been through it 7 times but it just doesn't get old. YOu know what I mean? Or did I make no since at all?

Dana, It makes total sense!!! This is what I thought your comment meant. Yes, it is hard to believe that someone could "take" a baby from themselves. I mean, I wonder if those doctors let them hear the heartbeat before that? There is some horrible stuff on the internet that will make one think twice--or should make one think twice, about abortion. There are photos of what these real life babies look like just afterward. If you ever get an exhibit called "Bodies" near you...you SO NEED TO GO. There is this exhibit inside the exhibit that shows babies from gestation (a tiny cell) to full grown. There are really little babies in the exhibits. You can see these babies AND THEY LOOK LIKE BABIES and they are only the size of a dime. It is very amazing. The Bodies exhibit is back in Atlanta now. Jerime and I went when I was about seven months pregnant with Thad. Jerime made sure I wanted to go into the "babies" exhibit before we went because he didn't want it to upset me. I just can't explain my emotion. Anyone who uses abortion as their form of birth control should visit that.
Anyway, I totally understand what you mean. And even though I heard Thad's heartbeat at six weeks one day, I cried again when I heard this little miracle's heartbeat too.
Also, the medical visit showed me that technology is amazing! This machine told me that at my first visit, I was only five weeks four days!!!
Anyway...love you!
