Should I really discuss work on here? Not really. Am I gonna? A little bit...
So what a week. As a mommy you must learn to turn off the mommy and go to work and be the boss and likewise for when mommy's return to work. But this week it was hard. And it all started about a month ago. It started when a gentleman decided he didn't really like the process he has to go through when requesting a well waiver.....the complaint went to a county commissioner. Then a former governor decided to test the system and yet, another county commissioner called. Then a restauranteur decided why should he have to pay an annual fee on time.....that went to the official Board, which resulted in a committee meeting...the first complaint went to yet another meeting where I learned that now the commissioners want to test the system and challenge the loading rate calculation used by EPD for non-mixed use sewage treatment....OSHA called wanting to know our process for indoor quality complaints and found out quite quickly that no one agency really addresses that issue in georgia...and I won't even go there....my light in my office started coming down. Thank you Houston County for fixing that! GEEZ. PMF's are due and they are TOTALLY late. I HAVE 9 of them to do...plus their MRF's!!! So what does one do? Well, toward the end of this past week it all built up. I had to attend a training class which I ended up excelling in to get my certification...woopeee...but that did not mean that the above was over. In the past TWO weeks, we had THREE pool plan review issues that has come up and my pool program lead is not totally up to speed on pools although I can tell he will be most excellent. The good thing is....all my staff are wonderful. They take care of me. Even though I didn't sleep well for the last three days, and my face began breaking out due to the stress... I was able to go home to my sweet family and get the best hugs and kisses that I could find....and let me tell you, they are good. I just wish I had a hot tub.
